Ectropion (Out turning eyelid)

Ectropion is a condition when the lower eyelid starts to turn outward exposing the eye to irritation and infection usually caused by loose eye skin, scar tissue from injuries or surgery and sun damage.

Ectropion usually only effects adults of an older age and tends to only effect the lower lid.

The side effects of an ectropion is a watery, sore and irritated eye as the lid is not protecting the eye ball from the environment.
